Our 5G Hotspot Router Bundle – NEXS2GO with Sierra Wireless EM9191 5G Modem is all you need to assemble a complete functioning 5G cellular hotspot router using the high performance Sierra Wireless EM9191 5G wireless cellular modem together with the WiFiX NEXS2GO router.

The Wireless Haven has put together this complete 5G internet hotspot router bundle with all the necessary parts for you to assemble a cellular gateway router, taking the guesswork out of parts purchasing. We match all the parts exactly as we like to build them ourselves, as well as from favorite builds by our community over at https://wirelessjoint.com.

The Sierra Wireless EM9191 5G Modem is a 4×4 MIMO modem, meaning it uses 4 separate antennas. That means that you have to add a second pair of antennas to the modem adapter enclosure. This kit includes a full set of 4 antennas as well as the four needed antenna connectors for the modem to router. The modem adapter enclosure is needed, as the Sierra EM919x series modems do not work with all devices and modems without special circuits, and the longer 5G modems do not fit inside the NEXS2GO router. This does work in our USB3 to M.2 Modem Adapter Enclosure.

This kit can be paired with our convenient to mount all in one 4×4 MIMO outdoor antenna for a strong signal when outdoor antennas are needed for signal improvements, or a pair of our High Beam X2 antennas for even more boost. We also have an all in one antenna bundle for mounting this router and modem in our outdoor 4×4 MIMO antennas enclosure.

The Sierra Wireless EM9191 is a very powerful modem and has power requirements that can be more than the stock power adapter that comes with most routers. It is recommended to add a quality cell phone style plug-in charger with Micro-B USB connector for auxiliary power input. We want to make sure you have all the amps you will need to deliver reliable modem power.

NOTICE: The EM9191 is also a Category 22 LTE modem. LTE and 5G in one modem. This is a “5GNR” modem. It supports “New Radio” 5G bands, it does not support mmWave 5G bands.
